Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or 3+ years relevant work experience
- Experience in technical analysis and client management in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with industry standard tools and protocols preferred (e.g., Corvil, Splunk, Google GCP Support tools, FIX)
- Strong client service skills with a drive to achieve customer satisfaction
- Excellent communication skills to articulate complex problems and solutions
- Prior customer support experience in a high-stress environment
- Ability to apply strategic thinking to problem-solving and identify patterns during major production events
- Proactive and self-motivated approach with a strong work ethic
- Excellent teamwork qualities and willingness to contribute to a global team
- Flexibility to support new technology and diverse products
Responsibilities
- Provide accurate, precise, and timely information to CME Group service consumers while minimizing risk
- Quickly identify business needs and assess their consequences and impact
- Measure urgency and determine the best course of action
- Assist with order cancellation, status, and net positions
- Provide functional, technical, and transactional support for all-electronic trading and clearing systems and applications
- Perform mission-critical impact analysis using all available tools
- Respond, investigate, and escalate alerts and issues affecting system/market performance
- Continually evaluate current processes and propose improvements for efficiency
- Develop ad-hoc queries and perform complex data analysis to support policy and process changes
- Support all deployments, including bug fixes and new functionalities
- Coverage hours will be Wednesday - Sunday or Saturday - Wednesday (hours TBD)
