Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in technical analysis and client management in a fast-paced environment
- Strong client service skills and a drive to achieve customer satisfaction
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions to varied audiences
- Prior customer support experience in a customer-facing, high-stress environment
- Ability to apply strategic thinking to problem-solving and troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Proactive and self-motivated approach with a driven work ethic
- Excellent teamwork qualities and contribution as part of a global team
- Flexibility to adapt as CME Group evolves with new technology and diverse products and services
- Bachelors Degree or 3+ years relevant work experience
- Experience with industry standard tools and protocols preferred (e.g., Corvil, Splunk, Google GCP Support tools, FIX)
Responsibilities
- Provide accurate, precise, and timely information to consumers of CME Group services while minimizing risk
- Quickly identify business needs and understand their consequences and impact
- Measure urgency and determine the best course of action
- Assist with order cancel, status, and net positions
- Deliver functional, technical, and transactional support for electronic trading and clearing systems
- Conduct mission-critical impact analysis using available tools
- Respond, investigate, and escalate alerts and issues affecting system and market performance
- Evaluate current processes and introduce improvements for efficiency
- Develop ad-hoc queries and perform complex data analysis for policy and procedure changes
- Support all deployments including bug fixes and new functionalities
- Coverage hours will be Wednesday - Sunday or Saturday - Wednesday (hours TBC)
