Requirements
Must:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python and SQL
- Experience with Ruby, Perl, Go, or Scala is a bonus
- Proficient in cloud platforms, particularly GCP or AWS, including cloud-specific native technologies
- Familiarity with BigQuery is a major advantage
- In-depth understanding of cloud security principles and secure coding techniques
- Experienced with containerization and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, Mesos, or Docker Swarm
- Skilled in automating infrastructure and workflows using tools like Terraform
- Knowledge of big data frameworks like Spark, Flink, or Apache Beam
- Proficient in DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Maven, and Git
- Strong skills in system testing and optimizing solutions
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methods and DevSecOps principles
- Advanced problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to initiatives
- Ability to manage tasks autonomously and collaboratively within a team
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and effective interpersonal capabilities
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field, or 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Relevant cloud or DevSecOps certifications

- Shape core capabilities essential for the platforms success on GCP
- Harness key GCP services to establish, enhance, and automate platform functionalities
- Focus on scalability, resiliency, recoverability, and compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement key data platform services
- Drive the implementation of advanced automation solutions
- Optimize workflows for seamless CI/CD pipelines
- Enhance the organizations ability to leverage data insights while meeting compliance, performance, and reliability standards
