Requirements
Must:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated critical thinking and initiative with limited direction
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office product suites
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Creative thinking and effective problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform research, compile findings, and organize data effectively
- Quick understanding of business and risk concepts
- Ability to work with individuals at all levels within the organization
- Passion for learning new skills and conveying knowledge
- Strong, proactive communication skills tailored to the audience
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Law, Business, or related field
- Local to Belfast, able to be in the office three days per week
Responsibilities
- Assist with evaluating data management capabilities to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards
- Document and address vulnerabilities and risks related to data management, providing remediation solutions
- Support Information Governance initiatives through data collection, analysis, and documentation
- Contribute to projects focused on keeping our data safe
- Assist with updating policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures
- Support the Information Governance team by learning and completing operational processes
- Assist the team with data analysis and updating data processing and record inventories
- Complete quality assurance activities related to Information Governance business processes
- Prepare and develop organizational awareness and training materials
