Requirements
Must:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Critical thinking and initiative when working with limited direction
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office product suites
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Creative thinking and effective problem solving skills
- Ability to perform research, compile findings, and organize data effectively
- Ability to understand and absorb business & risk concepts quickly
- Ability to work with individuals at all levels within the organization
- Passion for learning new skills and technologies
- Strong proactive communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to the appropriate audience
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Law, Business, or a related field with availability in 2026-2027
- Local to Belfast, as youll be expected to be in the office three days per week
Responsibilities
- Assist with evaluating data management capabilities to ensure compliance with established company policies, procedures, and standards
- Document and address vulnerabilities and risks related to data management by providing remediation solutions
- Support Information Governance initiatives through data collection, analysis, and documentation
- Contribute to projects focused on Information Governance topics that ensure data safety
- Assist with updating policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures
- Support the Information Governance team by learning and completing operational processes
- Assist the team with data analysis and updating data processing and record inventories
- Complete quality assurance activities related to Information Governance business processes
- Prepare and develop organizational awareness and training materials
