Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in Java development (Java 8 or higher)
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and RESTful API development
- Experience with Agile methodologies using Jira, Confluence, and Git
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and testing
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience mentoring or leading technical teams
- Experience in IT consulting or client-facing roles (desirable)
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP (desirable)
- Familiarity with containerisation tools (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines (desirable)
- Exposure to microservices architecture and API integration (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level Java applications using Spring Boot
- Collaborate with clients and teams to define and deliver robust, scalable solutions
- Contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle
- Lead Agile ceremonies and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure code quality and maintainability through reviews and testing
- Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of collaboration and learning
- Engage with stakeholders to align technical outcomes with business goals
