Responsibilities
In this position, you will lead the security direction for AWS platforms, guiding cloud product teams through secure design, governance, and assurance activities. You will shape the security architecture for high-profile services, ensuring regulatory alignment while enabling teams to innovate confidently and maintain robust protection standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide expert AWS security direction across products and programmes
- Define and embed cloud security capabilities, governance, and controls
- Maintain compliance with ISO standards, NCSC principles, and Secure-by-Design strategies
- Lead security design reviews and technical consultations
- Prioritize vulnerabilities, drive remediation, and strengthen cloud security posture
