Requirements
Must:
- SC Clearance required
- Experience with VxRail hardware configuration
- Proficiency in setting up and configuring Dell access switches
- Knowledge of network core connectivity and VLAN segmentation
- Familiarity with vSphere (version 8.0 and ESXi 7.0)
- Experience with Veeam for backups and restores
- Ability to define firewall and network rules
- Skills in documentation for setup and operational procedures
Responsibilities
- Configure and operationalize VxRail hardware
- Rack, power, and network the hardware
- Install and configure Dell access switches
- Establish logical VLAN segmentation and IP address planning
- Manage cabling and power extensions to racks and shared storage configurations
- Set up vSphere and connect to existing vCenter
- Implement Veeam for backup and restoration processes
- Define and document best-practice firewall and network rules
- Prepare backup and restoration plans along with disaster recovery procedures
