Requirements
Must:
- SC or DV Clearance required
- Experience with VxRail hardware configuration
- Knowledge of Dell access switch installation and configuration
- Understanding of network core connectivity (VLAN segmentation, IP planning)
- Proficiency in cabling and power management for racks
- Experience with VMware vSphere (vSphere 8.0 and ESXi 7.0)
- Familiarity with Veeam for backup and restore processes
- Ability to define firewall/network best practices
Responsibilities
- Configure and operationalize VxRail hardware
- Rack, power, and network the hardware
- Document the setup process and configurations
- Install and configure Dell access switch(es)
- Establish logical VLAN segmentation and IP address allocation
- Manage cabling and power extensions to racks
- Set up vSphere and connect to existing V8.0 vCenter
- Implement Veeam for backup and restore
- Define best-practice firewall and network rules
- Prepare backup and restoration plans and DR procedures
Description
