Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a candidate with advanced knowledge of Solaris 10, UNIX / HP-UX, and Oracle 8-10g. A strong understanding of networking principles such as DNS and DHCP is essential. Additionally, you should have experience with PowerShell, Perl scripting, and VMWare v5/5.5, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Server (2003/2008R2/2012R2), Windows 7, Active Directory, and Exchange 2003.
Responsibilities
In this permanent role, you will take responsibility for incident management, problem resolution, and continuous service improvement while adhering to strict SLAs and security protocols. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing and resolving 3rd line incidents, ensuring adherence to SLAs.
- Delivering system training for new staff and contractors.
- Investigating complex problems and escalating when necessary.
- Performing regular backups of live and reference platforms.
- Implementing ad-hoc requests and driving continuous service improvements.
Description
