Requirements
Must:
- Degree in a STEM subject or equivalent practical experience
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, Rust, or JavaScript
- Experience with AWS (primary), with Azure or GCP as a bonus
- Knowledge of Docker or Podman, Kubernetes, ideally with exposure to GPU containerisation (NVIDIA Container Toolkit, Run:AI)
- Understanding of microservices, serverless architecture, and RESTful APIs
- Experience with Protobuf/gRPC and stream-based pub/sub systems like Kafka and MQTT
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitLab), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Puppet, Ansible)
- Linux shell scripting skills
- Strong communication skills and a solutions-first mindset
- Curiosity, proactivity, and a passion for solving complex problems
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the full delivery lifecycle from architecture discussions to production deployments
- Participate in agile ceremonies (Scrum, Kanban or SAFe)
- Collaborate with product owners and fellow engineers
- Conduct code reviews and work with quality engineers to uphold high standards
- Troubleshoot operational systems when necessary
- Own code releases and deployments
- Drive agile best practices into real-world solutions
- Engage in cross-disciplinary collaboration with different teams
