Requirements
Must:
We require candidates who have experience in Java development, object store configuration, and containerization. You should be proficient in Docker and Kubernetes, with strong back-end software development skills using Python and Java. A solid understanding of relational databases and SQL is essential. We are looking for someone who has experience integrating third-party software and performing scripting or glue work. Experience in building and deploying web user interfaces, along with a background in national security missions, is highly advantageous. You should also demonstrate an agile approach to delivery, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to trace faults and errors in the system.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be integral to our efforts in the National Security sector. Your responsibilities will include developing software in Java, configuring object storage, and utilizing containerization technologies. You will be tasked with back-end development using Python and Java and will need to manage relational databases effectively. Integration of third-party software and building user interfaces will also fall under your purview. Additionally, you will work closely with customers and stakeholders, presenting technical ideas clearly while delivering on agile methodologies.
Description
This position is initially offered for 6 months, with a competitive daily rate ranging from £700 to £770. You will be based in one of our locations: Cheltenham, Manchester, or London. Please note that current eDV clearance is a requirement for this role.
