Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of experience in Security Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure with a focus on Data Security
- Expert knowledge of at least one DSPM platform (e.g., Varonis, Cyera, BigID)
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Helm
- Proficient in AWS or Azure cloud environments
- Strong proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell, with solid SQL skills (SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL)
- Experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP), IAM, and secure vaults (e.g., CyberArk)
- Deep understanding of Privacy and Security frameworks (GDPR, NIST, OWASP)
- Previous experience within a highly regulated banking environment is preferred
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent cloud security certifications are a plus
- Experience working within Scrum or Kanban frameworks using JIRA
Responsibilities
- Drive the expansion and enhancement of data security platforms (e.g., Varonis, Cyera, BigID)
- Execute structured and unstructured data scans across SMB, Confluence, and Jira to identify vulnerabilities
- Implement and optimize data discovery workflows using Python or Shell scripting for maximum scalability
- Manage deployments using Helm charts, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and integrate services across multi-environment setups (Dev/UAT/Prod/DR)
- Customize data discovery policies and classifiers to meet global regulatory requirements (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA)
- Work closely with Infrastructure, Governance, and Security teams to ensure architecture aligns with the latest software lifecycle patterns
