Requirements
Must:
- Strong capability to identify security gaps across systems and processes.
- Experience creating and applying risk models.
- Ability to develop and execute a comprehensive cybersecurity test strategy.
- Strong understanding of Azure security risks, especially related to Azure Storage.
- Knowledge of immutable backups and secure data retention strategies.
- Experience with disaster recovery planning, including full restore testing.
- Expertise in multi-factor authentication (MFA) setup and testing.
- Proficient in vulnerability management, including scanning, prioritization, and remediation validation.
- Ability to design and interpret security dashboards for monitoring and reporting.
- Awareness of system throttling and its security implications.
- Comfortable upskilling the rest of the team in basic cybersecurity testing.
- Previous experience with manual testing of systems, APIs, and applications.
- Proficiency in programming languages: JavaScript and Python.
- Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, Jenkins, Jira, and Splunk.
- Knowledge of authentication mechanisms (OAuth, SAML, JWT, etc.).
- Experience working in healthcare is preferred.
Responsibilities
- You will join our current test team to support CIS1, CIS2, and DSS, contributing to the ongoing cyber resilience efforts within IAM.
- You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive cybersecurity test strategy.
- Your role will include identifying security gaps and applying risk models to enhance system security.
- You will facilitate the upskilling of team members to ensure our collective capabilities in cybersecurity testing are robust.
- Additionally, you will manage vulnerability scanning and implement effective remediation strategies.
Description
We are a global IT consultancy dedicated to driving digital transformation within the Health Service. This position offers a daily rate of £380 and is set for an initial duration of 6 months, with a hybrid working model requiring in-office presence in Leeds two days a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays). Please note that SC Clearance is required for this role.
