Requirements
Must:

- 1-2 years of experience in security, SOC, or IT security.
- SC Clearance.
- Knowledge of networks, security principles, and common threats.
- Experience with SIEM/EDR tools.
- Understanding of ISO 27001 / NIST.
- A background in government or military is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to SIEM/EDR alerts.
- Triage and investigate security incidents.
- Support vulnerability management and remediation.
- Assist with Information Assurance (IA) tasks such as risk assessments, audits, and compliance.
- Maintain access controls, reviews, and security documentation.

Description
We are looking for a sharp Junior Security Analyst to support our SOC and IA activities in a secure, fast-paced environment. This role will involve dealing with real alerts and incidents—no babysitting required. If you have an interest in cloud security (Azure/AWS) and experience with vulnerability scanning tools like Nessus or Qualys, along with basic scripting in PowerShell or Python, these would be beneficial. You can expect a contract outside IR35, offering between £400 to £480 per day, with hybrid working available in London.
