Requirements
Must:
- Strong background in Cyber Security Engineering
- Solid hands-on experience deploying and managing SIEM + EDR platforms
- Strong syslog/Linux skills
- Eligibility for SC Clearance, if not currently possessed
Responsibilities
- Work in a hybrid model with 3 days on-site in Reading and 2 days remote
- Engage in a cutting-edge Cyber Security environment, utilizing technologies such as Microsoft Sentinel and Elastic ELK stack
- Focus heavily on Linux and syslog architecture
- Perform custom integrations, threat hunting, and detection engineering
- Script using KQL, Python, and PowerShell as needed

We are seeking an experienced SIEM/EDR Engineer for an exciting contract opportunity with a leading client in the Cyber Security field. This role offers a competitive daily rate of £380 - £430, with a rolling contract lasting 12-24 months.
