Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as an SAP ABAP Consultant with multiple FULL Lifecycle implementations.
- Proficiency in Clean Core ABAP Programming, CDS Views, FIORI Element reports, and Adobe Forms.
- Knowledge of additional development objects such as Function Modules, Data dictionary objects, BADI, BAPI, User-Exits, Web Services Gateway, Data Services, ABAP for HANA, Forms, Reports, and performance tuning is advantageous.
- Familiarity with SAP PO/PI is helpful.
- Strong customer focus and good client-facing consulting skills, as the role involves working collaboratively with our clients and their suppliers.
- Must hold SC security clearance.
- Ability to test system changes and assist in user testing.
- Willingness to share knowledge with colleagues in SAP technical and related business matters.

- Delivering SAP solutions at client sites.
- Ensuring the quality delivery of our solutions.
- Influencing key reference projects alongside our technical team in the UK.
- Collaborating effectively with our technical and functional teams.
Description
We are a global IT consultancy looking for a hands-on SAP ABAP Consultant who can work unsupervised using the latest SAP technologies, including S/4HANA, CDS Views, Gateway, and Adobe Forms. This position is hybrid, requiring a few days a month in Chester, with an initial contract duration of 6 months. The maximum rate for this role is £688 a day, and it falls inside IR35. We value commitment to process improvement and compliance with all relevant quality processes and procedures while ensuring the completion of all specified quality records.
