Requirements
Must:
- Experience with SAS Enterprise Guide (EG), particularly in job orchestration and user migration support.
- Proficiency in SAS Data Integration (DI), specifically in packaging and deploying DI jobs using manifest structures.
- Strong technical expertise in SAS technologies and Oracle.
- Deep understanding of configuration management and the software testing lifecycle.
- Active SC clearance.
Responsibilities
- I will own and manage the end-to-end release process across development, test, and production environments.
- I will coordinate with development, testing, and operations teams to ensure timely and quality releases.
- I will maintain and enforce configuration management standards using manifest files and structured release artifacts.
- I will oversee the packaging and deployment of SAS DI code (SPKs) and Oracle artifacts (clear-text files).
- I will support migration activities, particularly from SAS 9.4 to SAS Viya 4, utilizing CI/CD practices and Capgemini accelerators.
- I will facilitate release readiness reviews, go/no-go decisions, and post-release retrospectives.
- I will ensure traceability and auditability of all release components and decisions.
Description
This role is for a Release Manager with a contract duration of 6 months, based in Telford with a hybrid work schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. The maximum supplier rate is £515 per day, inside IR35.
