Requirements
Must:
I am seeking a PKI Engineer with the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience in delivering on-premise PKI using technologies such as Keyfactor (EBJCA), Microsoft PKI, and OpenSSL.
- Experience in delivering high assurance PKI to support both Microsoft and Linux platforms.
- Expertise in mainstream encryption schemes and key exchange protocols, as well as quantum-safe cryptography.
- Proficiency in Powershell and OpenSSL.
- Ability to create policy documentation by interpreting customer Certificate Policies related to PKI usage (e.g., CPS / Key Signing Ceremonies).
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of learning and adapting to work with both legacy and new technologies as part of a live system transition program.
- Willingness and eligibility to undergo a high level of security clearance (DV Clearance).
Responsibilities
As a PKI Engineer, you will be responsible for applying security best practices and industry standards derived from threat analysis. Your role will include:
- Implementing PKI technology according to design requirements.
- Delivering new and ongoing changes to work packages in response to evolving user requirements.
- Creating and owning all related documentation artefacts for work packages, including High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), and installation guides.
Description
We are a global IT consultancy dedicated to delivering digital transformation solutions to our Defence and National Security clients. This position offers a competitive salary of £55,000, alongside a £6,000 car allowance, a bonus potential of up to 10%, a 10% DV Allowance, and an excellent benefits package. The total compensation is approximately £70,000, and the location for this role is in Basingstoke.
