Requirements
Must:
- Oracle 12c-19c Database Administration
- Oracle RAC Administration
- Oracle ASM, RMAN, GoldenGate
- UNIX administration & shell scripting (KSH)
- MS SQL Server support
- ITIL environment experience
- Strong written and verbal technical communication skills
- Client facing IT Services experience would be an added advantage
Responsibilities
- Provide production support for Oracle (12c-19c) and MS SQL Server databases
- Administer Oracle RAC, ASM, RMAN, and GoldenGate environments
- Monitor and manage databases using Oracle Enterprise Manager
- Perform UNIX administration and basic KSH shell scripting
- Operate within ITIL-aligned Change and Release Management processes
- Support high-availability, business-critical systems
- Participate in an Out of Hours support rota
Description
We are hiring for an SC Cleared DBA Oracle Support Engineer to provide database support across Oracle and SQL Server platforms within a Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) environment. This 6-month contract role is located in Berkshire, offering a hybrid work model with 3 days in the office. We offer competitive daily rates and encourage applicants from all backgrounds.
