Must:
We are looking for candidates who are willing and eligible to undergo SC and DV clearance for this role. Due to the nature of the clearance involved, candidates must be sole UK Nationals. The ideal candidates will have demonstrable design experience using technologies from a variety of industry-leading vendors. They should also possess experience in requirements management and associated tooling, and have a strong technical networking knowledge, along with vendor certifications, in routing protocols, virtual routing instances, VPNs, security zones and policies, QoS, and high availability. Additionally, experience in configuring network products from Juniper (SRX, EX), Cisco, and Gigamon is required. Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to defect resolution are essential.
Responsibilities
As a Network Architect, I will support the Programme and Project Managers in delivering network designs across all work streams, including the Main Programme, Live Service, Service Requests, and Requests for Change. I will work alongside the Lead Architect and Deputy CTO to define designs that align with requirements and support the Network Design Engineers and Support Engineers in overcoming delivery and operational challenges. My responsibilities will include creating and managing HLD/LLD components for key areas of the solution, ensuring that the designs are fit for purpose and capable of passing through review and governance. Additionally, I will provide input into reports for the customer and the Programme as required.
Description
I am excited to offer a competitive salary ranging from £70k to £78k, along with a 10% DV Clearance Allowance paid monthly, a car allowance of £6k, and a 15% bonus. The total compensation package is estimated to be around £90k to £103k. Joining our global IT consultancy, you will play a vital role in assisting government clients throughout their digital transformation journey. Excellent communication skills are essential, as I will be expected to collaborate with various teams, share knowledge, take ownership of tasks, and make quick decisions.
