Requirements
Must:
- Strong practical experience in Linux Administration: RHEL or similar
- Strong practical experience in Ansible
- Strong practical experience in Network Protocols
- Strong practical experience in Git
- Strong practical experience in Documentation skills
- Experience with Red Hat IDM
- Knowledge of VMWare
- Familiarity with Podman
- Basic knowledge of Gitlab
- Understanding of LDAP/Active Directory
Responsibilities
- Support application, including installation and upgrades
- Provide HPC resources mainly for system engineering (e.g. Matlab)
- Handle infrastructure administration (Red Hat Linux/Kickstart/VM Ware Systems)
- Manage Information in liaison with support groups (Data Centre Service, Networks)
- Conduct hardware diagnostics
- Perform shell scripting
- Manage, investigate, and resolve support tickets within the SLA
- Execute system updates (applications, middleware, database)
Description
We are looking for a skilled Linux Administrator to join our team on-site in Stevenage for a duration of 6 months. This role requires SC security clearance. You will have the opportunity to work on diverse tasks involving application support and infrastructure administration, and you will be compensated at a rate of £475 per day inside IR35.
