Requirements
Must:
- Strong Java development skills
- Experience with cloud services
- Familiarity with RedHat/Kubernetes
- Knowledge of unit testing
- DevSecOps awareness using tools like Tekton, ArgoCD, SonarQube (desirable)
- Experience with Red Hat Openshift or Kubernetes (desirable)
- Proficiency in Quarkus Framework (desirable)
- Front-end development skills using Angular (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality, readable, scalable, and maintainable code using Java and related technologies
- Develop reusable patterns and foster innovation to improve team velocity
- Write unit and automated tests to contribute to quality assurance
- Conduct design and code reviews to ensure adherence to coding best practices, security, and scalability guidelines
- Ensure code is sufficiently documented and share knowledge of implemented solutions
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and daily stand-ups in an Agile environment
- Collaborate with the scrum team to meet sprint commitments
Description

Our team operates within a flexible working environment, requiring only three days in the office and allowing two days remote work. We are committed to fostering innovation and collaboration within our Agile Scrum team, focusing on developing cutting-edge Geospatial software. We offer a competitive rate of £70 per hour for this SC Cleared role.
