Requirements
Must:
- DV Clearance is required.
- Experience in testing, including manual tests and test management tools.
- Knowledge of continuous integration tools and the ability to design and produce manual tests.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and virtualization technologies.
- Proficiency in network protocols and experience with both Linux and Windows operating systems.
Responsibilities
- Run manual tests using project-approved tools.
- Interpret test results and conduct preliminary investigations of failures.
- Raise defects and monitor their resolution.
- Develop scripts and integrate testing within CI/CD pipelines and the wider ecosystem of tools.
- Collaborate closely with developers, infrastructure specialists, and project managers within Agile delivery teams.
Description
We are a global IT Consultancy committed to delivering digital transformation to the Ministry of Defence. As an Infrastructure Test Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our efforts by leveraging your expertise to support the continuous integration, deployment, and testing of new features across complex environments. We are looking for someone who has hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering, with a solid understanding of DevOps principles, and who thrives in a multi-disciplined engineering team. Additionally, you should possess strong problem investigation and analysis skills, and holding an ISTQB Foundation Certification would be a plus. This position is based in Basingstoke, where you will be onsite five days a week, and offers an attractive rate of £400 a day.
