Requirements
Must:
- SC Clearance required
- Experience with VxRail hardware configuration
- Proficiency in networking and Dell switch installation
- Knowledge of vSphere (targeting vSphere 8.0, ESXi 7.0)
- Familiarity with Veeam for backup and restoration
- Strong documentation skills
- Ability to establish network connectivity and VLAN segmentation
- Experience in preparing disaster recovery procedures
Responsibilities
- Configure and operationalize VxRail hardware
- Rack, power, and document hardware setup
- Install and configure Dell access switches
- Establish network core connectivity with logical VLAN segmentation
- Plan and allocate IP addresses
- Extend cabling and power to racks
- Configure shared storage
- Set up and connect to vSphere and existing vCenter
- Implement backup solutions using Veeam
- Define firewall and network rules for best practices
- Prepare backup and restoration plans and disaster recovery procedures
