Requirements

Must:
- Significant experience in the implementation, configuration, and usage of CI/CD pipelines, ideally with Azure DevOps. - Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling, such as Terraform, Ansible, and Harbor. - Experience with Static Code Analysis (SCA), Interactive Application Security Testing (IAST), and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) tools, including Black Duck, Coverity, Codesight, JFrog, and Snyk. - Knowledge of automated testing tools, ideally Selenium or Robot Framework. - Experience with test management tooling, preferably Azure Test Plans. - Understanding of secure secrets management, ideally within Azure DevOps and Hashicorp Vault. - Proficiency in version control using Git. - Eligibility for DV clearance is required for this role.

Responsibilities

As a DevSecOps Engineer, I will drive the technical delivery of DevSecOps, focusing on CI/CD pipelines and integrated security tooling. My duties will include: - Developing CI/CD pipelines, Ansible scripts, and Terraform while automating the build and deployment of software and infrastructure components using modern tools and best practices. - Taking responsibility for certain aspects of the technical implementation, delivery, and assurance of DevSecOps tooling and processes. - Contributing to technical implementation and design activities, making design decisions, and assessing options based on team feedback. - Advising end users on the effective use of DevSecOps technologies and processes. - Collaborating within a SCRUM team to support and prioritize work while identifying and raising any risks or dependencies. - Ensuring that the DevSecOps implementation meets business outcomes and security requirements. - Planning work for the team and contributing to regular progress reporting tracked alongside the DevSecOps Tech Lead. - Engaging with other teams regarding the usage of DevSecOps tooling.

This is a permanent opportunity based on-site in Basingstoke, offering a salary range of £38,000 to £55,000, depending on experience. Once DV cleared, I will offer a 10% uplift. I am part of a global IT consultancy that delivers digital transformation services to the Ministry of Defence (MoD).
