Requirements
Must:
- SC and DV Security Clearance is required
- Deep understanding of the data migration life cycle and full project lifecycle
- Previous experience managing a development team
- Strong communication skills about data and SAP to all levels of understanding
- Ability to mentor and suggest solutions based on development experience
- Experience in running data workshops
- Skilled in preparing and reviewing technical documentation
- Proficient in analyzing source datasets
Responsibilities
- Manage a development team and plan workflows
- Resolve defects and escalate issues as needed
- Communicate data-related topics to various stakeholders
- Mentor team members and provide guidance on best practices
- Collaborate with SAP functional teams and business data stewards
- Advise on data cleansing and data analysis issues
Description
We are looking for a Data Migration Lead for a 10-month contract position in Reading. This role offers a competitive daily rate of £690 - £750 and is operated inside IR35. Our project involves migrating legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA for a client in the UK defence and central government sector. We have a hybrid working environment, with 4 days on-site and 1 day remote.
