Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable data integration and ETL solutions using Talend and Unix
- Build and maintain data pipelines (ingestion, transformation, curation) with monitoring, alerting, and SLA adherence
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements aligned to non-functional requirements (performance, cost, security)
- Support incident resolution and ensure service continuity
- Contribute to Agile delivery ceremonies and cross-functional team collaboration
- Mentor team members and share technical knowledge
Description
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team in Telford. This hybrid role involves occasional onsite workshops, approximately 2 days a month. We focus on delivering scalable, performant data pipelines within a secure government environment, ensuring high service reliability across critical data platforms. We offer a competitive rate of up to £450/day inside IR35 and a collaborative environment where you can enhance your skills while making a meaningful impact.
