Requirements
Must:
- I require strong experience in data modeling, metadata management, and data standards.
- Proficiency in SAS tools, particularly SAS Viya 3.5, SAS RTENG, SAS Studio V, and SAS Enterprise Guide is essential.
- I am looking for familiarity with Oracle database environments and automated data ingestion practices.
- The ability to reverse-engineer data models and conduct source system analysis is a must.
- An understanding of HMRC data processes or prior experience in government projects is highly valued.
- Familiarity with EA integration patterns and secure data transfer protocols will be beneficial.
- Awareness of data innovation opportunities and emerging data technologies is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- I will expect you to design, develop, and maintain data architecture models aligned with enterprise standards.
- Supporting the ingestion and integration of data using the SAS platform will be essential.
- You will lead the upgrade, decommissioning, and archiving of data in accordance with data policies.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to translate business problems into effective data solutions will be part of your role.
- I need you to maintain data dictionaries and metadata repositories to ensure information remains accurate and compliant.
- Providing input into enterprise data governance, standards, and quality assurance processes will be required.
- I am looking for you to identify opportunities for innovation through data and emerging technologies.
Description
We are an IT services company seeking a Contract Data Architect to join us in Telford for 2 days per week. This is a 6-month contract with a likely extension, offering between £540 - £570 per day inside IR35. Due to the nature of this role, you will need to hold active SC Clearance. You will be working on a critical government project, supporting the development of a robust data platform to combat fraud. You will be embedded in a newly formed Scrum team on the Minerva Platform, contributing to the ingestion of data within the SAS Platform, including the Intelligent Data Platform (IDP).
