Requirements
Must:
- eSC (enhanced SC) security clearance required
- Experience with SIEM and logging platforms such as Splunk and Elastic
- Proficiency in Microsoft security tooling including Defender suite and O365 security services
- Knowledge of security controls across AWS and Azure environments
- Proven experience in Vulnerability Management, including deployment and configuration of vulnerability management tooling
- Ability to identify, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities
- Experience operating vulnerability management processes across AWS and Azure
- Solid understanding of cloud security architecture and controls in hybrid or multi-cloud environments
- Experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and certificate management is ideal
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to explain technical cyber risks to both technical and non-technical audiences
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery and operational maturity of security capabilities across cloud and enterprise environments
- Provide technical leadership and hands-on expertise across core cyber technologies
- Oversee cloud security tooling and vulnerability management processes
- Engage with stakeholders to articulate technical cyber risks clearly
Description
We are looking for an experienced Cyber Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our remote team on a 6-month contract, with very occasional travel to London. The successful candidate will be vital in enhancing our security capabilities across cloud and enterprise environments and will receive a competitive rate of £600 per day, inside IR35. We value technical leadership and hands-on expertise that contributes to our operational success.
