Requirements
Must:
- SC Clearance required
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture, specifically with AWS
- Proficiency in Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
- Experience with GitHub Actions and other pipeline tools
- Familiarity with observability tooling
- A solid understanding of the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Responsibilities
- Maintain and support the critical Spine Core messaging platform and infrastructure for the NHS
- Collaborate with teams to implement and promote platform engineering practices and principles
- Build reusable, consumable Infrastructure-as-Code and Continuous Integration jobs
- Advocate for software team autonomy while ensuring alignment and quality

Additional skills that would be beneficial include experience with programming languages, particularly Python, and a background as a software engineer on product-oriented teams. The position requires working on-site in Leeds one day a month, with a rate of £535 a day for an initial duration of 6 months.
