Requirements
Must:
- Knowledge of 3GPP technical standards
- Proven experience in system and service architecture in a domain (infrastructure, applications, data, networking, cloud)
- Knowledge of architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, MODAF, NAF)
- Advanced understanding of secure system design principles and cyber security standards
- Experience shaping architectures within Agile or SAFe delivery environments
- Industry certifications (e.g. TOGAF, ArchiMate) - desirable
- Vendor certifications (e.g. AWS) - desirable
- Knowledge of TETRA / ESN and emergency services organisations - desirable
- Knowledge of mission critical communication software - desirable
- Experience contributing to technology roadmaps and enterprise strategy - desirable
- 3GPP Specifications and Amazon AWS Cloud Practitioner - must have
- ArchiMate - nice to have
- AWS Solution Architect - nice to have
- Certified TOGAF Enterprise Architect - nice to have
- DevOps/DevSecOps - nice to have
- ESN/TETRA - nice to have
- Mission Critical Communications - nice to have
Responsibilities
- Act as the technical authority for systems and services.
- Define and evolve architectures that balance customer needs, architecture principles, and secure-by-design standards.
- Contribute to divisional and line-of-business roadmaps, identifying opportunities for technology insertion and innovation.
- Lead technical reviews, trade-off studies, and risk assessments for major design decisions.

We are a global technology consultancy working with the MoD located in the South West (Bristol) with a hybrid work model, approximately two days a week in the office.
