Requirements
Must:
- Degree (or higher) in Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline
- Significant Systems Engineering experience in RF, communications, or radar domains
- Strong understanding of RF systems, antennas, propagation, and signal chains
- Experience delivering complex systems across the full engineering lifecycle
- Proven technical leadership and ability to operate as a design authority
- Background in defence, aerospace, or secure government environments
- Electronic Warfare experience (ES, EA, ECM, ESM) (desirable)
- Experience with SDR, DSP, and RF signal processing (desirable)
- Knowledge of radar systems, sensors, and PNT technologies (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Act as System Design Authority for RF-based systems across the full lifecycle
- Lead system architecture, requirements definition, and design trade-offs
- Provide technical leadership across RF, DSP, hardware, and software teams
- Drive development of RF communications, sensor, and electronic warfare capabilities
- Oversee integration, verification, and validation of complex RF systems
- Identify, manage, and mitigate technical risks across programmes
