Requirements
Must:
- AWS (Platform-X) experience
- Strong knowledge of using and deploying to AWS
- Proficient in Linux and Windows scripting
- Experience in engineering (installing packages)
- Understanding of connecting AWS to other platforms
- Knowledge of networks, LAN, and WAN connectivity
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Familiarity with firewall rules and low-level designs
- Knowledge of VMware (VRA/VRO)
- Experience with automation tools (Chef) and cloud templates
- Knowledge of ServiceNow catalogue items is a plus
Responsibilities
- Design and implement networked computer systems
- Plan, install, and configure hardware and software in a computer network
- Provide ongoing maintenance and technical support to users
- Develop and rewrite firewall rules
- Produce low-level designs and build documents with a view to ORR
- Collaborate with team members in an Agile environment
Description
We are seeking an Orchestration Engineer for an initial 6-month contract with opportunities for extension. This is a hybrid role that may require occasional travel to Corsham. The position is SC cleared and falls inside IR35. We value expertise in AWS, VMware, and networking, and we offer a dynamic and supportive work environment.
