Requirements
Must:
- DV cleared role - must be eligible
- Skills in Cisco, Juniper, and NSX-T
- Experience with Cloud Administration (e.g., Broadcom: NSX-T)
- Knowledge of Firewall Management (e.g., Cisco Firepower Management Centre)
- Familiarity with Network Devices (e.g., Cisco IOS, NXOS & FXOS, Juniper Devices & JUNOS)
- Understanding of Network Authentication (e.g., Cisco ISE)
- Experience with Event Management Tooling (e.g., SolarWinds)
- Proficient in ITSM Tooling & Processes
- Knowledge of Cloud Administration (e.g., Broadcom: vCenter - Use of, not Administration)
Responsibilities
As a 3rd Line Cloud Network Engineer in our dynamic team, you will:
- Carry out planned activities via a Change Management Process.
- Monitor the system using Event Management tooling.
- Respond to incidents through our Incident Process, which includes triaging incidents and escalation via the Service Management Team.
- Handle escalations from 2nd Line engineers and perform daily checks utilizing ITSM tooling.
- Manage PKI certificates for networking devices (both physical and virtual).
- Distribute software, firmware, and security updates for network devices.
- Collaborate and support our design and engineering teams.
- Maintain and support the virtual and physical network solution, providing timely updates to the Operations Lead.
- Conduct readiness assessments for new releases entering service from the Engineering Team.
- Produce and maintain documentation such as Work Instructions and Patching Schedules.
Description
We offer a permanent opportunity for two 3rd Line Cloud Network Engineers to join our team, located on-site in Basingstoke. The salary range for this role is £50,000 - £60,000, plus a 10% DV allowance.
