Requirements
Must:
- Prior experience working in a data center environment
- Strong knowledge of IT devices and hardware components (servers, storage, networking equipment)
- Proficiency in inventory management and documentation practices
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Experience working in Banking Data Centers would be a distinct advantage
Responsibilities
- Lead stock-taking activities at our sites within the specified timelines
- Perform comprehensive stock audits to ensure accurate inventory records
- Create and maintain detailed inventory documentation and asset records
- Identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions to maintain data integrity
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of stock-taking processes
Description
We are an IT global consulting company looking to hire an IT Data Center Stock Take Lead to manage our inventory audits and stock reconciliation activities across our data center environments. This position is a 6-month hybrid contract based at our Wakefield and Barnsley Data Centers, starting in March 2026. We are seeking a candidate with hands-on experience in IT hardware inventory management and a strong understanding of data center operations.
