Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates who have at least 12 months of hands-on experience within the last 3 years in the following areas:
- Creating PHP and JavaScript web services
- Consuming REST-based web services
- Consuming SOAP-based web services
- Automated deployment of server, network, and storage technologies across multiple vendors
- Building or supporting large infrastructure environments
- Troubleshooting hardware and software component failures
- Working effectively within an Agile development team
Additional essential requirements include:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High-level analytical and critical thinking capability
- Valid Security Clearance (SC)
- Competency with the Microsoft Office Suite
Responsibilities
In this role, you will join our fast-paced, Agile delivery team supporting large-scale, multi-vendor infrastructure environments. You will be responsible for:
- Developing automated solutions
- Building robust web services
- Ensuring consistent, secure deployment across complex architectures
- Solving problems and streamlining processes
- Collaborating within high-performing technical teams
Description
This position is a 6-month contract with hybrid working in Corsham, requiring two days a week on site. The role is SC cleared, and a current active clearance is essential. We are offering between £550 - £625 a day, inside IR35. We encourage candidates with previous experience in the UK public sector, ideally in Defence or Defence Digital, and those who have delivered accredited secure solutions within UK Government environments to apply.
