Requirements

Must:
We are looking for Full Stack Engineers with commercial experience in a range of languages and technologies, including Java and AWS. While previous consultancy experience is beneficial, it is not mandatory. Due to the sectors we operate in, all team members must be able to obtain security clearance, which requires being a British passport holder and having lived permanently in the UK for the last five years.

Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer in our Agile-focused team, you will be involved in multiple aspects of software development. Your responsibilities will include implementing software solutions through design, development, and testing. You will utilize a variety of technologies, particularly open-source libraries and components. You will also use tools such as GitLab to build continuous integration pipelines, ensuring software quality and security. You’ll deploy software systems in various environments, including public (AWS and Azure) and private cloud. Your role will encompass the full software lifecycle from project concept formalization to delivery, training, support, and maintenance. Depending on your experience, you may also lead teams and manage client engagement.

Description

As part of the Information Intelligence Group (IIG) at CACI UK, we are a specialized software consultancy dedicated to providing bespoke solutions that address our customers' complex operational problems. We are expanding our team and are excited to connect with a Full Stack Software Engineer to contribute to our live projects within our Central Government team. You will be assigned a base office location, which can be in Bristol, Manchester, Cheltenham, or Plymouth, but we operate in a hybrid model, allowing you to choose how often you work from the office or home. While we encourage flexibility, regular client meetings (typically every couple of weeks) are expected. We value our talent and take pride in fostering a dynamic, inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. Our comprehensive benefits package includes 24/7 counselling support, city-centre offices with flexible working options, assigned career coaches, social gatherings, and onsite allowances for lunch and drinks. We are committed to equal opportunities and actively work to create an inclusive atmosphere free from discrimination of any kind.
