Requirements
Must:
- Proficiency in computer hardware fault-finding down to component level (e.g., replacing hard drives, DIMMs).
- Experience troubleshooting within a Windows environment.
- Basic understanding of networking principles, including routing, switching, and TCP/IP.
- Strong communication skills across all mediums.
- Excellent time management, organizational abilities, and attention to detail.
- Experience with electronic, electrical, and mechanical repair, including the use of testing equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes).
- Ability to perform precise repairs with a high degree of manual dexterity.
- Ability to manage tasks independently.
- Valid full UK driving license.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain digital X-ray systems, focusing on software, hardware, and networking.
- Conduct inspections, fault diagnosis, and configuration of specialized X-ray acquisition software.
- Perform installations, commissioning, and annual service visits for new and existing X-ray equipment at customer sites.
- Troubleshoot customer issues both onsite and remotely, via phone support or remote desktop access.
- Coordinate with OEMs and third-party suppliers to source spare parts, technical manuals, and support.
- Complete service reports and administrative tasks with accuracy and in a timely manner.
- Manage your workload effectively, scheduling and planning jobs to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and adhere to company guidelines and procedures.

This is a home-based role covering the North of the UK, with additional travel across the UK as needed. As a vital member of our team, you will specialize in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing our cutting-edge digital X-ray systems. Your expertise in computer software, hardware, and networking, in addition to general X-ray equipment, will be crucial in ensuring our customers receive the highest level of service and support. We are committed to maintaining a high standard of customer service, building strong, lasting relationships with our clients, and ensuring their needs are met.
