- Understanding of LAMP, PHP, Symfony2, MySQL, Linux, Apache, JavaScript, PHPUnit, Git, YouTrack, PHPStorm, and GitHub.
- Programming experience, ideally in PHP 7.4 or higher.
- Experience or understanding of object-oriented design and patterns.
- Familiarity with creating database-driven applications.
- Experience with version control systems.
- Good understanding of web application security.
- Good understanding of testing practices.
- Passion for open-source technology.

Responsibilities
- Maintain our current internal bespoke software (HUB) and ensure its functions are up to date.
- Review user tickets to resolve any issues or errors, including updating and testing existing code prior to deployment.
- Incorporate information from multiple departments in an easily reviewable manner, ensuring relevant personnel are informed of any updates.
- Listen to the users to find solutions that enhance efficiency in the use of HUB.
- Identify and review scripts or code that could automate laborious tasks across the business, increasing productivity.
- Conduct monthly meetings with management to track progress towards pre-agreed goals.
- Create user-friendly interfaces focused on ease of use for all levels.
- Develop client portals to enhance our brand and reputation.
- Assist in developing the IT role to make it more integral to our operations.
- Perform any other duties as requested by your manager to ensure the complete fulfillment of responsibilities.
- Adhere to safety protocols and follow company procedures as well as environmental and quality regulations.
