Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years experience in a large-scale complex IT environment
- Strong hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Azure
- Solid understanding of Azure networking and hybrid connectivity
- Interest in cloud infrastructure and managed services environments
- Strong troubleshooting mindset and willingness to learn
- Good communication skills and ability to work with customers and internal teams
- Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-900) (desirable)
- Microsoft Certification (MCSE) or equivalent certification (desirable)
- PowerShell or Azure CLI scripting experience (desirable)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Implementing, monitoring and maintaining Microsoft Azure solutions, including major services related to Compute, Storage, Network and Security
- Managing deployments/rollouts
- Defining and documenting best practices and support procedures
- Providing technical designs and implementation plan for new systems
- Producing high-quality documentation to support workarounds and/or resolutions to assist in knowledge transfer and efficiencies
- Providing expertise to Projects and Business Service Requests as required to ensure tasks and milestones are achieved in a timely manner
- Deploying and maintaining Azure resources across customer environments
- Implementing and supporting Azure landing zones and subscription structures
- Operating Azure services in line with governance, security, and compliance standards
- Configuring and supporting Azure networking components including VNets, peering, NSGs, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, Azure DNS and UDRs
- Monitoring and managing the Flogas Network ensuring appropriate capacity and security is in place
- Participating in incident response, problem management, and RCA
- Identifying opportunities for optimisation (cost, performance, security)
