Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience in data or AI transformations in large, complex organizations
- Deep understanding of modern data practices including data engineering, analytics, governance, AI/ML, and automation
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing multi-disciplinary teams
- Ability to engage executives and influence stakeholders
- Strong communication skills for articulating opportunities of data and AI
- Commitment to ethical and responsible use of data and AI
Responsibilities
- Set the long-term vision for data, analytics, AI, and automation across the Council
- Lead the development and delivery of the organization-wide Data Strategy
- Oversee data platforms, governance frameworks, and data quality standards
- Ensure infrastructure is scalable, secure, and meets rising demand
- Manage a sizeable multi-disciplinary team, including direct and indirect reports
- Lead the Councils automation and AI capabilities
- Support the development and deployment of machine learning models and digital automation tools
