Requirements
Must:
- Relevant experience in ICT security and surveillance environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage a varied workload
- Knowledge of ITIL framework, ISO 27001 security standards, or similar
- Experience using Cyber Security vulnerability scanning tools
- Skills in prioritization and installation of security patching and remediation plans
- Proficient in installing and accessing surveillance and monitoring equipment
- Strong contract, procurement, and negotiation skills
- A Level or equivalent in a relevant subject
- Certification in a Cyber Security subject matter
- Training in the use of surveillance equipment and code of practice

Responsibilities
- Protect Council assets from cyber-attacks
- Ensure all ICT assets are up to date with the latest security patches
- Maintain infrastructure and business systems in optimal condition
- Serve as the single point of contact for council-owned surveillance and monitoring systems
- Develop and implement strategic objectives related to security and surveillance
- Manage contracts and procurements for security-related services
- Create policies for camera surveillance and operations
- Advise on cyber security and surveillance as a subject matter expert
- Contribute to community safety initiatives across the Borough
