Requirements
Must:
- Degree-level education or equivalent experience
- Experience working with large datasets and relational databases
- Strong Excel and Microsoft 365 skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Collaborative team player with strong organisational skills
Responsibilities
- Support the preparation and submission of statutory data returns (e.g. SLC, OfS, HESA)
- Review and validate data, ensuring accuracy and coordinating corrections where needed
- Maintain external databases
- Extract, analyse, and present data using various systems including Excel
- Respond to ad-hoc data requests, including Freedom of Information enquiries
- Produce datasets and reports for internal committees (e.g. Senate, Council)
- Manage and publish data on internal and external web pages
- Act as a key contact for enrolment reporting and data queries
- Provide administrative support to data-focused meetings and working groups
- Contribute to improving data quality and processes across systems
Description
We are an education client seeking a Data Administrator to join our team for a temporary role of 2 months, starting as soon as possible. This position pays approximately £14 per hour and is offered on a hybrid basis, requiring regular on-site presence at our office in Bath (BA2).
