Requirements
Must:
- Strong understanding of data protection and information governance principles
- Experience maintaining and developing compliance frameworks
- Familiarity with standards such as ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials
- Ability to coordinate internal audits and support external certification processes
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across various teams
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the compliance and governance framework
- Maintain and develop data protection and information security frameworks
- Manage day-to-day administration of policies, controls, and documentation
- Coordinate internal audits and assist with external certification processes
- Act as a central point for compliance activity across the organization
- Ensure policies are understood and followed by all teams
- Track risks and control actions
- Maintain key records, including data inventories and incident logs
- Support GDPR compliance and data handling processes
