Must:

- Experience supporting live systems, including upgrades and incident response
- A solid grounding in networking, security and cloud best practices
- Some scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Terraform or similar)
- Collaborative and pragmatic mindset focused on improving systems
Responsibilities
- Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of the platform
- Get hands-on with infrastructure and support live environments
- Manage upgrades and ensure systems run smoothly
- Involve in patching, lifecycle management, and ongoing improvements
- Work closely with development, support, and product teams
- Maintain existing Docker-based infrastructure while contributing to Kubernetes environments
- Think critically and understand how systems work to implement improvements
Description
We are a growing software business delivering a live, large-scale platform used by customers across the UK. Were expanding our team to meet increased demand and maintain strong engineering standards. Youll be joining a collaborative and supportive team of cloud engineers, working in a remote-first environment with occasional in-person meet-ups. Our package includes a competitive salary of £50,000–£60,000, a 10% annual bonus, on-call payments, and comprehensive benefits.
