We are looking for a Lead Operations Engineer who holds an active SC clearance. An excellent analytical and diagnostic mindset, coupled with a structured approach to discovery and documentation, is essential. You must excel in documenting processes, monitoring metrics, and reporting on operational health. Furthermore, exceptional communication skills are crucial for effective knowledge capture and handover, especially during high-pressure incident management situations. Your ability to navigate both deep technical details and higher-level architectural/system views will be invaluable. You should also possess a continuous improvement mindset and strong risk management awareness, balancing immediate stability with long-term strategy. Proven experience in managing and supporting enterprise-scale services, familiarity with ITIL-aligned service management, and a background in high-availability and disaster recovery are highly desirable. Experience in a multivendor environment, system migrations, re-platforming, or legacy modernization programs would be advantageous.

Leading root cause analysis and service improvement initiatives will also be part of your responsibilities. You will define and maintain runbooks, standard operating procedures, and operational documentation. Additionally, you will ensure that backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes are operationally tested and aligned with business needs. Overseeing job scheduling, batch management, and automation activities, such as using Tivoli Scheduler, will fall under your purview.
