Requirements
Must:
As a D365 F&O Developer, we expect you to have the following qualifications and skills:
- At least 5 years of experience in D365 Finance & Operations development, with expertise in X programming, data entities, and extensions.
- Proven ability to customize general ledger modules, journals, and posting processes, including financial dimensions and intercompany transactions.
- Strong knowledge of D365 tools like Visual Studio, LCS, and Azure DevOps for CI/CD, as well as unit testing frameworks (e.g., SysTest) and debugging.
- Familiarity with financial data handling, error management, batch processing, and integration patterns (e.g., DMF, OData).
- Experience with D365 workflows, security roles, and reporting tools (e.g., SSRS).
- Proficiency in working with PowerBI reports and creating dashboards.
- Background in performance tuning, data migration projects, and managing large datasets within ERP environments.
- Experience in collaborating within cross-functional teams, including conducting code reviews and utilizing version control.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, testing, and deploying custom extensions for general journal processing, including data entities like LedgerJournalHeader and LedgerJournalLine.
- Implementing business logic for transaction validation, reconciliation, and posting workflows within D365 Finance.
- Collaborating with integration teams to ensure seamless functionality and data flow.
- Troubleshooting and optimizing performance for high-volume transaction processing.
- Documenting technical specifications and supporting deployment in cloud environments.
