Requirements
Must:
- Excellent communication skills with strong written and spoken English
- Solid understanding of desktop and server networking concepts (Microsoft and Linux preferred)
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policies
- Proficient in DNS, DHCP, and printing protocols
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Office 365, SharePoint, and Hyper-V
- Hands-on experience with IT infrastructure installation and support
- Familiarity with networking hardware such as switches and wireless access points
- Experience working in a multi-site or enterprise environment (desirable)
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g. Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco) (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Manage and support IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services
- Administer Microsoft environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and server roles
- Maintain and support Microsoft Azure, Office 365, SharePoint, and Hyper-V
- Configure and troubleshoot networking components such as switches and Wi-Fi access points
- Support DNS, DHCP, and printing services
- Provide technical support and resolve infrastructure-related issues
- Assist with system upgrades, installations, and ongoing maintenance
Description
We are looking for a skilled and proactive IT Systems Administrator to join our team on an initial 3-month contract, with the opportunity to go permanent. We offer a rate of £200-£230 per day (Inside IR35) and a hybrid working model, requiring 2 days a week in central London. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong infrastructure and networking experience to support and maintain a modern IT environment.
