Requirements
Must:
- Significant experience in designing and building secure cloud solutions, ideally with Microsoft Azure, and awareness of AWS or GCP
- Strong understanding of secure, scalable architectures
- Skilled in leading technical discussions and articulating architectural decisions
- Advanced knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation
- Proficient in DevOps practices across CI/CD pipelines and automation
- Familiarity with cost analysis, optimization, and ROI modeling
- Experience in consulting or client-facing project leadership is advantageous
- Experience with .NET or Python is an advantage
- Knowledge of cloud-native security tooling is a plus
Responsibilities
- Translate business needs into secure, scalable architectures using Well-Architected Frameworks
- Lead platform architecture and embed non-functional requirements (NFRs)
- Build automated cloud platforms using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Develop CI/CD pipelines, reusable modules, guardrails, and policy as code to support secure, consistent cloud adoption
- Apply end-to-end security across identity, networking, encryption, secrets, MFA, and zero trust
- Implement automated security scanning (SAST/DAST), dependency checks, and secure pipeline patterns
- Align platforms with organizational and regulatory standards
- Work across the full project lifecycle

We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect to join our Cloud Engineering and Platforms practice, offering a salary of up to £95,000. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on designing and building secure, automated, and scalable cloud platforms.
